Consulate Review: Georgia
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : December 29, 2013
Embassy Review : I arrived at the consulate at 8:30 am. my interview was at 9 am. the security let us in the embassy at like 8:50 am.
i was among the B2 and other type of visa applicants.
the local stuff took the passport and DS-160 confirmation page from me.
after like 15 minutes they called me again for finger prints.
again in like 15 minutes the local embassy stuff asked me to submit all the documents i had except evidences.
i had to wait 40 more minutes and then the consular officer called my name in the speaker.
i went up to the window. the concular officer asked me just 4 questions:
how i met my fiance, which state we are going to get married, why i had two B2 denials before and why i got married (i got married with a girl while i was in a relationship with my fiance)
i explained to her everything and then she said that i got approved and my visa will be ready in a week
it was really easy and i was worried and nervous in vain
juts be honest and they will notice your relationship is genuine

Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
