SEPT 19, 2013:
It's been 1month and several emails and phone call to NVC and they informed me that they have not receiveD my petition. NVC stated that it could take up to 8 WEEKS:-( for them to receive the petition form CSC from the date of approval. NOT GOOD
Oct 14, 2013: 2 months and NVC emailed me and informed me that they can NOT assist me with my inquiry regarding my I-129F. They informed me to contact the US Embassy in Laos. Wow!:-( it took them 7weeks to informed me of this info. The processes have changed drastically since i first submitted my petition back n June2013. I've sent an email and cc NVC about my follow up. I'm not a happy camper right now

I was able track DHL package to Vientiane with tracking # this past weekend. My fiancee stated that she got a miss call from the US Embassy this afternoon. We will call the Embassy tomorrow to do a follow up.
Nov 20, 2013:
My fiancee stopped at the US embassy to get her Packet 3. I've completed the DS-160 ahead of time and the CO gave us a interview date Dec 5, 2013. My fiancee went across the Mekong River to Udon Thailand to get her Medical exam.
Dec 12, 2013:
Interview went well and we want to thank the US Embassy in Laos for their professionalism and customer-service focus approach. Coming back on Dec 18 to get her passport and visa. Plan to purchase ticket for Dec 19, 2013 via Ohare International Airport. Thank you US Consulate for your help.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
