Embassy Review : |
OK, here goes, my fiance and I arrived at the US Embassy in Kingston at 6:57am, we got in line and the lady says excuse me but the petioner cannot go in, so we were a little bummed after that, but he went in without me with no problems. He said he got in, they called him up immediately and was asked to be fingerprinted then sat back down again, was called up again to go pay for the visa of $240 then had interview, very easy basic questions like: How did you meet your fiance 2. Was she alone when you met her, asked about only one of our pics where were you when this was taken he answered Runaway Bay, and then he said to him you know you can't get married here in Jamaica, this allows for you to get married in the United States, he said I know, he then gave him a paper explaining Domestic Violence in USA, then he was approved...that's it, went in at 7am and he was back out to me at 9am, he said it was very easy and the officers were very nice, only financial info that he took was my W-2,1040 tax forms and the I-134, that's it, employment letter, paystubs and other bank account stuff, they didn't even touch..now waiting for passport to be processed which we see now is another long process, but we've waited this long, we can wait some more |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
