The interview lasted much longer that what we had been reading. He interviewed us for about 30 minutes. Approved us on the spot after he asked a lot more questions that we thought he would. |

Embassy Review : |
Fiance was at the embassy an hour early. Interview was on time. First Chinese lady was unpleasant and impatient. She actually worried my fiance and made her feel as though she was going to fail but my fiance kept smiling. The 2nd lady was a younger American that made her feel comfortable, smiled a lot, initially spoke great Chinese but my fiance asked her to speak English. lol They only asked for 3 documents, didn't want anything else. They only asked her 4-5 questions and one was a repeat. The curious thing is that they had my fiance write/sign both her name and my own on a blank sheet of paper. Near the end, my fiance asked the American if she passed and the American told her yes and smiled. Entire process took maybe 40 minutes from start to finish. Now we are waiting on her passport/visa to ship to the pick up location. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
