Went to the desk gave documents and the officer took my fiance back to an office where he was asked to wait which was only about 10 minutes then a female officer called him up to a counter and she asked him when was he getting married and then told him congratulations and that she wished him all the best and that she hoped everything worked out. She was very pleasant and professional as were the other officers that were around while he was waiting.
This place deserves a 5++++ stars. |

They did not require an interview. We had a lot of evidence like family pictures that we sent with our paper work. God is truly Great. |

Embassy Review : |
Interview was scheduled for 0830 in the morning we arrived around 0715.The line was long at that time and it was then that I found out we only needed to come 30 min early, you are wasting your time coming any earlier because they call your time slot to come thru security about 15 min before the appointed appointment time, you cant go thru any sooner.
So they called the 0830 appts at 0815 I got up to security where I was told I had to throw away the package of gum I had in my purse,no gum even if its not being chewed and still in the package is allowed to be brought in.
Went thru security where we had to leave cell phone in a basket and then a locker and from there we went to a court yard and waited for a little over an hour and then we were called into another area that was very coldly air conditioned, so wear a sweater.
This building is where you go to pay your fee and where they call your name to check documents and they do the visa interviews. We sat for sl over an hour before we were called to window 8 where a very nice lady ask for our documents and asked my fiance questions like what was my name and how is it spelled,so I told her my name and she said,"No you cant answer the questions he has to answer them, why dont you go pay the fee". So since I was dismissed to go pay the fee she continued to quiz my fiance about our relationship. We then sat down for another 40 min and then we were called to window 10 where the interview took place. For some reason I thought it was going to be a face to face sit down interview, its not,you stand at a glass window and the lady ask my fiance the basic questions, how long we had been dating, how we met, which website, how many times we met in person, why I didn't stay at his place when I came to visit and to meet his family, trips we took together, when are we getting married, what were are plans for a ceremony and if he had read the domestic violence form and then she briefly went over it.
She asked if he had other id besides his passport which the lady at window 8 had also asked him and he told her yes and she said "Mr Arthur I am approving your K1 Visa you can pick it up after 2pm next Thursday." This was after she asked me when I was going back to the states which I was leaving on Monday the 16th our interview was Thursday the 12th.
All in all interview went great, the lady who did the interview was very nice not intimidating at all she typed the entire time of the interview and was very friendly.
We left the embassy at about 11:15 am very happy and of coarse we started calling family and went out to Altitude, an outdoors restaurant and night club that looks out over the city of Georgetown, later that night for a celebration drink and dinner.javascript:emoticon('')
WOULD GIVE THIS A 5 BUT THE WAIT WAS TO LONG. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
