Comments : You can start sending them the packet 3.5 requirements as soon as they receive the case from NVC. We e-mailed the Islamabad Embassy and they sent it to us right away through e-mail and we filled and sent everything before most people receive their packet 3.5. Interview Letter was received by e-mail first.

Interview on October 21 was great. My fiance was asked questions like what does your fiance do. What does her father do. When did they move to USA. What will you do when you go there. Also they asked for his original birth certificate. They didn't ask for any ongoing relationship evidence. The lady told him he was approved and will receive his visa in 7-10 business days.

From October 21 to October 28 the State website showed "ready"
On October 29 the State website changed to "Administrative Processing"
On October 30 the State website changed to "Issued"
He received the visa on November 4.

Embassy Review : The Embassy was great. Interview on October 21 was great. My fiance was asked questions like what does your fiance do. What does her father do. When did they move to USA. One suggestion to everyone here is that keep your documents organized throughout this whole process. You can never have too many documents. It's better to be safe than sorry and read read read! Read all the reviews on here and read the issues others have had and learn from their mistakes and you will be fine.

From October 21 to October 28 the State website showed "ready"
On October 29 the State website changed to "Administrative Processing"
On October 30 the State website changed to "Issued"
He received the visa on November 4.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
