Embassy Review : |
Vika arrived about an hour early and was about 5th in line. Over the next hour, a lot more people arrived and there was some confusion and tussling in the line as people waited and compared notes. However, once things got underway, Vika tells me she made it quickly through security (leaving all personal items behind other than her wallet and paperwork), was given a number and waited briefly before being called forward to hand in her paperwork (evidence of support, birth cert, divorce cert, evidence of relationship). After that, it was a brief wait until the interview which was quick, polite and straightforward - no curve-balls. All in all, a bit of a hassle, but the staff were efficient and polite, and there were no unpleasant surprises, so who could ask for more? Vika's appointment was at 0745, and she was done, approved and one her way home by 0900. She picked up her passport 6 days later at the specified TNT Express dropoff location. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
