Comments : So we had our interview on Sept 4th, and were told to provide more info. we submitted it to our local office and they LOST the information. we did a recent InfoPass 4/24/15 and they told us to RE-submit everything! ... on Wednesday.. 4/29/15 i get an unexpected call and visit from homeland security... they did a house visit and asked questions. I was told it my case looked good and should hear something SOON!! (with god's willing) ****************************
WE had another interview date on July 15, 2016. From what they told us after 2 surprise home visits was that the adjudicators handling our case during our FIRST interview did not do their job! After numerous calls to USCIS, and the 2 home visits we had the interview in July where they told us that our case would be wrapped up and to be expecting something VERY soon. Skeptical as were because everyone else was telling us the same thing, we just hoped and prayed this was true! FINALLY USCIS "check my status" was updated and we noticed our i485 was approved. My husband, during the 2 and 1/2 years he has been here, has had to apply for work authorization 2 times during his i485 application process since it took so long to get approved. NOW we are just waiting for the actual approval letter and card. GOD is GREAT! finally GOOD NEWS!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
