Was reading ur timeline. I see u had a notice of biometric reuse very quick after u applied. Have u ever had an interview date since then? I applied online since 29/09/20 nothing yet so far.

No, I still don’t have an interview date. I was surprised to get the notice of bio reuse so quickly but it seems like they sent out a lot of bio reuse notices on sept 4. Someone from the August 2020 group who is in Atlanta too and got the bio reuse on sept 4 as well got their interview date already so hopefully we’ll hear something soon!

Still nothing. But I’ve seen a few people from GA getting their interview scheduled the past couple weeks so there’s hope! Yes, some people actually have their interview scheduled in AL instead to clear the backlog.

I applied on the 3 years rule. My estimated case completion time was September 2021(11) months at first then July 2021 yesterday it’s switched back to September 2021(6 months). Things run so slow here it doesn’t make sense.

Yes it’s definitely slow! My estimated case completion time was July 2021, then changed to June 2021 and last week it switched back to July 2021. I applied under the 5 year rule. My green card is valid until 2028 so I’m in no rush. But I just want to get it over with!

Even if it had a date on it, everything can change :)“

Are you going to apply for a passport shortly after your oath? I wonder if it’s possible to do it on the same day. My husband just renewed his passport and it took almost 4 months so I want to do it as soon as possible after the oath

Very quick and fast… took us about 10 mins in total. Hand in the green card gathering to repeat the oath all together and receive the certificate. Because of COVID they don’t take pictures soon u receive ur certificate u make sure everything is ok and then u have to exit the building. Thank u and I’m waiting for urs next week😊

Same as yours! It was very fast after we waited for everyone to arrive and surrender their green card. The immigration officer talked briefly about passport and congratulated us and we repeated the oath and got our certificate. My husband took some pictures of me outside in front of the building and that’s it! So glad it’s over and now can’t wait to get my passport!
