Event Description

Embassy Review : this a review for my wife's appointment since i was with her at the window as the interview was being conducted, just listening and watching not talking.
we arrived at the embassy by walking it was guarded 360, we waited for about 30 min and people started showing. by the time we started checking in it around 0800
we were given a clear paper to put our document inside in order, at the embassy lobby we were issued a number.
we waited for around 8 min and our number was called to submit the document, they were some missing document but allowed me to correct form G325, after that i had to submit a statement on how we met i did in writing one page and my wife had to submit a statement about her previous passport and they asked fro picture and my wife gave it to the Japanese Lady.
we waited for another 30 min wondering what might happen. then my wife was called for finger printing, after that she was told to sit and wait for the actual interview, she was called after around 20 min we went together and the Lady consular asked my wife how we met just smiling while she continued typing, then she asked where my wife is going to stay in states after that she asked what happened to K1 and how i felt when my wife did not get K1 visa, i told i was satisfied with the outcome and we had our dream wedding as we always wanted we never let the Denial of K1 visa got our way, she smiled and told she will get this one, i smiled and said thank we talked about my work and my next assignment and she told my wife you have been approved. It has been less than 24 hrs since the interview and as I am writing this we have our Visa and THE "DO NOT OPEN" packet at hand it come 0900 today morning! No Harassment at all
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
