I have the same officer who denied my B2 visa last year to interview me, what can I share here, is... You just have to be yourself, tell the truth. They are nice people, and is their duty to make sure all the visitors or immigrant visa applicant are genuine.
Few questions the officer asked:
1) How you meet him? (The Petitioner)
2) When is the last time you met him? (The Petitioner)
3) Already 2 and half year you didn't see him? (My answer: Yes, I supposed to meet him last year but my B2 visa rejected)
4) Why he don't come and visit you again? (My answer: He asked me file the K1 last year few months after B2 visa rejected)
5) Do you know what he work as? (Officer asked twice about his job)
6) Why your name changed? (My answer: Because of religion)
7) Religion? You from what religion, and now? (I found is quite offensive as for me this is my privacy... I show him my bad face still, I answered him: from Buddhist become Christian)
8) Why you look so nervous when I asked about your religion? (My answered: Because this is my privacy, I found this question is quite sensitive... I am sorry.."
The officer then mentioned just to find out the reason for name changed
9) Do you have any picture together with him? (I then show him all the pictures printed by John, my hero...)
10) Do you know the reason you might can't marry him? (my answer: I don't know)
11) Do you know you have to marry him within 90 days after your landed? (My answer: yes, I know.)
12) You know he married? (My answer: No, he still single... not married yet.)
Then the officer smile, and told me it seems ok, I have to wait outside the room and wait for his colleague call me... before I leave the room, the officer said "You need to apologies for last time you lie on me..." Haha, seems my visa secured! I then tell him "I am sorry... "
Well, about 3 mins waiting after the interview, my number called into another room, and when I step into the room, the officer told me that my visa secured, I can collect from the pick up point on Thursday or Friday |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
