Consulate Review: Montreal, Canada
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : March 22, 2014
Embassy Review : Our interview was on March,14. We arrived at the Consulate around 7 am and nobody was there so we decided to go and get some coffee. When we came back at 7.20 there were already around 10 people in the line. But thanks to VisaJourney I still managed to get A1 number(I already knew that the back door of the elevator would open and was the first one to get out of the elevator)

I am that kind of person who always gets nervous. A few days before my interview I was already thinking how nervous I would be. So this day finally came but I wasn't nervous at all! I was pretty sure I would get this visa and it made me feel already happy and excited And I just could't wait for my interview to hear that I am approved and to see that paper saying:" Welcome to US".

When I came to the window 8 I saw a serious man but at the end he was smiling already and joking with me. He asked regular questions like "how did we meet", "where does my fiance work".He even took a look at our pictures( I was surprised because many people were saying that nobody even looked at your evidence of relationship)And that's it. Easy peasy

Now looking back I can say that it was one of the best days in my life. I was so happy, on my way back to the hotel everybody was looking at me because I was smiling This moment and this feeling is worth waiting...
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
