Interview was great. As we had provided very detailed documents as to how we met, how many times etc and provided more information in an easy to read format she only asked a couple of questions in regards to our families. Then we chatted about general things. It was a really nice experience!!! they do a great job...Received NOA/Welcome letter 03/24/2014, Card received 03/28/2014 |

documents sent but never received. Contacted USCIS several times but still waiting for the approval notice. In the mean-time had my interview for AOS they said it would not matter as Green Card would allow travel anyway. |

At present because of Covid they did any biometrics updates on the day of the interview. The photo they update is for your certificate of naturalization so be prepared for that.. It was a bit of a surprise for me so I look like I have just been for a 5 mile run!! lol . Also there are different oaths you can take if you have an issue with the words oath and before God. Just need to let them know before the ceremony you wish to say I solemnly affirm in stead of oath and if you don't want to say so help me God you also don't have to. Don't need to provide any evidence for that. All the information is on the USCIS website |

Day of the interview scheduled at 10:30 I arrived at 10:00 am and went through clearance. They kept all electronics etc as expected. Took all copies of paperwork with me, great file of it!! Was called to the counter where initial processing was done and then waited for the interview itself. Whole process took 1.5 hours. The interview was fine, asked questions about how we first met how many times we have met since, some family based questions, how many times I have been to the US and if any of those times were over 90 days, She looked through the papers (which had the big red APPROVED stamp on the first page..yay!) then said that there was one document missing....ahhhhhh!!! she asked me to just scan and email it. The paper she gave me was worded a bit horribly but she assured me everything was fine once that document was sighted. So left a bit confused. The document was received by them within an hour and then they emailed my fiancé (he had to send it) and said the visa was now being processed...wheew!! that took 24 hours plus a few... can breathe a sigh of relief... now just tracking the platinum post bag to see when its sent .... so if you get asked to send in another document and get this piece of paper which is worded horribly, just email it in and relax...!!! |

Timeline Comments: 1December 30 2020 applied for Naturalization Form N-400. You have a lot of background information to gather and electronically attach to the application. But it is pretty easy to do just follow ALL the instructions
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
