Visa was approved on the spot without AP! The people were very very nice and cordial. We waiting about 3 1/2 hours and the consulate interviewed us for about 5 minutes. We interviewed with an american young lady, who was very sweet and pleasant. |

The experience was very very good. I attended the interview with my fiancé and I was allowed in the area to wait with him. After 1 hour he was called up and his paperwork taken (all the forms and his appointment letter), the officer did not take any proof we included nor pictures. He asked what "this" date is and my fiancé knew he was referring to my birthday. The officer said ok and to take a seat. After another 90 minutes, the consular officer called my fiancé back to the window. She asked where is your fiancé now and he turned and pointed to me so she asked me to join him at the window. She asked about how we met and a funny story I included in my original petition (which is truly why we are together today). I was embarrassed and blushed, she laughed. She asked me a few more questions and then asked my fiancé what work/study intentions he had once arriving in the United States. Lastly, she went to the back office to check something; ten minutes later came out and advised that everything was in order, we were approved and would receive the visa in one week. It took one week and 1 day javascript:emoticon('') |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
