Consulate Review: Islamabad, Pakistan Review Topic: K1 Visa Event Description Review Date : January 2, 2014 Embassy Review : Has anyone ever heard about a fiance visa interview that focus' on the character of the US citizen? Fiance had interview in Pakistan a few days ago. The interview was done in his language and an interpreter in english was there as well. Three questions were asked about pakistani fiance's background. Then he was about to receive approval, when the interviewer was ushered into another office. He came back and began to bombard fiance with questions about his fiance in america. How did they meet on a chatroom? What was the initial topic discussed during the chatroom that led each other to one another? How can you marry, if your fiance is not muslim? When fiance explained about his fiance converting to islam, the interview said where is the certificate certifying that she is a muslim? Fiance interjects by saying that she converted 5 years prior and takes arabic classses at the mosque. The interviewer asks for proofs of those classes,and send through them through email. passport is not returned. Rating : Not Rated
