Consulate Review: Vancouver, Canada
Review Topic: K3 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : March 4, 2006
Embassy Review : My husband went with me for my interview. We were there 9:15 am and my schedule was for 10 am and found out that there were four of us with the same time for K visa interview. I was the last one to arrive. The Officer who interviewed me was nice but strict with documents. He really looked at each page of the documents I submitted and checked if it has the dry seals! He would also check if the name written there is the same as other docs. As long as you have all the documents that was written on the checklist. (If both of you were divorced bring certified copies of both your divorce decrees and check if your police certificates are still valid), you will be fine. I thought it will only be my interview but the Officer also asked questions to my husband. He was sitting behind me and the Officer called him to go to the window.
Here are the questions that were ased to me:
1. How did we meet?
2. When did we got married?
3.How many time did I visit hi in the US?4.
4. What does my husband do for a living?
Questions that were asked to my husband:
1.How did we meet?
2.Why did he chose me?(We met in a dating website)
3.If he already met my family.
4.How many siblings do I have?
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
