Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines Review Topic: K1 Visa Event Description Review Date : April 30, 2013 Embassy Review : interview date was yesterday april 29 at 7:30am. arrived there at 6 am. line was so loooonnnngggg..... waited outside for about an hour before the guard let us in. ds forms were collected and passport was put in a ziplock with a unique barcode sticker provided by the US representatives. security check before getting inside. once inside the embassy you will get your number which you will be using for the entire process. after getting the number my long wait started. lol. i waited 30 mins for my finger scan. another 30-45 mins for the collection of documents with a filipina consul.(5 minutes) and the longest wait of 2 hours and 30 mins for my final interview with the US consul.(took only a minute). and the final window i went to is window 73, they just asked me to write the name of my petitioner and sign on one of the DS forms. then that's it i was told that i can go home and just wait for my visa to arrive. happy me!
