Had my info pass and the IO said that our papers weren't processed yet. 14 months and 12 days we got an email notification card production ordered from CRIS. It was a very stressful wait. After a week I got an email notification that my approval notice was sent. I received my green card but no approval notice. I wonder but, anyways, thanks GOD. It was over. |

Embassy Review : |
After the completion of our case (CR1) at the NVC, it was forwarded to the Hong Kong Embassy. It was 2 days after the Embassy received the case when I received my appointment letter for medical. HK Embassy is really fast and very efficient. It was exactly one month from their receipt of our case to the date of my interview. On the day of my interview, I submitted all my documents that support my application. The VO even takes a look at our wedding photos page to page. I was asked so many questions. They ask questions too fast, and I have to listen carefully and be smart in answering. After my interview, the VO congratulates me that my papers have no problem and that I will be issued a visa. He handed me a yellow card to pay for my visa delivery. It was 4:45pm when I went out of the Embassy. I was there from 1:30pm. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
