Embassy Review : |
The interview went pretty well . We were called into office about 5 min after our appt time and were interviewed by an elderly man who was fairly friendly. He interviewed me first ( the petitioner) , then called my spouse into the room with me and interviewed him. All in all he asked us about 5 questions each : current address, descibe some of the photos, have u taken any trips together?, when was the last time you visited ur father/ father-in-law?+ how long did u stay there during that visit?, rent amt for our house?, who attended your wedding? , and that was all. The total interview time, including both of us was about 20 minutes. Then he told us that he could not approve us at this time , due to a pending FBI namecheck, which could take anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 yrs,but he did remove Abdul's I-94 from his passport. Then he chatted with us about Ky history for about 10 min. lol , and we left .We were pretty relieved all in all, considering no RFEs and he did say we would be approved if nothing changed. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
