The officers were so unnecessarily rude and had no clue how to process a K1 Visa... they had to find the step-by-step guidebook. It was even stuff I knew how to process! Was there for about 30 mins. |

Dang they cashed that check fast, Labour Day holiday and all! Check cleared 09-03-2008.
Received actual NOA letter 09-08-2008.
Biometrics was smooth, like last time. Was the only person there (besides the workers) when I arrived lol.
This part was definitely the easiest out of all I've applied for! |

Seriously, that interview was the EASIEST interview I have EVER experienced! I went through clearance at around 8am, got on the elevator, went to the 19th floor, and was about the fifth person at window 14. The window had not opened yet, it opened at around 8:20. I got my number and sat down and waited. and waited. and waited lol. my number was C6. finally, C5 was called and it felt like 4 hours had gone by, by the time they got to C6 (it was only 20 minutes lol)! Anyway, I went to window 10, and was asked to pay the fee at window 14 and to return. The lady was very nice and polite. I went back to window 10 with the reciept stating i paid the fee and out of ALL the documents I brought, all she wanted was was Ds-156's, DS-156K, medical, I-134 affidavit with bank statement, employer letter, and letter of intent. She took them and I was asked to sit and wait for my number to be called again. It was only about a thirty minute wait but it felt like ETEERNITY! Finally, C6 was asked to go window 7. Honestly guys, I wasnt even in there three minutes...
I open the door and walk to the glass where a nice lady waited for my to put my bag and documents on the chair. She scanned my index fingers and swore me in.

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
