Oath Ceremony : 2008-12-12
Comments : 10 oral questions answered 100% correct. About 5 minutes with no additional information requested--even though she brought everything requested in the document check list. Did not request passports, marriage cert, divorce papers, birth cert. Said our file already had all that stuff. It was two thick files on the interviewer's desk! Did not return the appointment letter. Was given an N-652 "Naturalization Interview Results" sheet that says apporved and will notify of oath ceremony.

Local US CIS Office Review: Omaha NE
Review Topic: cis_topic
Event Description
Review Date : August 10, 2008
Embassy Review : It was a windy, blustery, snowy drive to Omaha! We arrived at the CIS office in Omaha about one half hour early to a packed room with other applicants. We were called for our interview approximately on time. The man who interviewed us was very professional and business-like. He looked through our file and documentation we had brought along. He took a sample of bank statements, approximately every six months, and copies of our birth certificates. After visiting with a supervisor, we were approved on the spot and told to expect conditional residence card in two weeks. He had us sign a document stating that we understood lifting of conditions must be filed 90 days in advance of the expiration of the conditional residence card. We shook hands and left, breathing a sigh of relief!
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
