CBP Officer asked me about my situation whilst in the elevator on the way to being processed. Informal chat but still nerve wracking at such an important time. If was fun taking care of the large envelope stamped US Official Business during the flight. I even took the thing to the bathroom with me. Probably looked really shady lol. Didn't sleep a wink on the way, couldn't wait to see my wife again. |

Interview was fast, IO didn't look at my passport, driving license or any of the paperwork that I had brought. IO corrected some items on my application form that the online system didn't ask about and got me to sign a few items explaining what they were as were got to them. Asked six questions which I must have got right. Was told that my application will be recommended to be put forward to be completed. Approved online the next day, ceremony scheduled the next day, now waiting for oath letter. Good luck to all who read this. :-) |

Wow! Your interview was so fast! Did you in Columbus or Cleveland?
Congratulations!!
The interview was in Cleveland. I don't know why it was so fast maybe I am an easy case because of the amount of documents I submitted and that I never left the country, who knows? Glad it's nearly over all the same.
Thank you for your response. Congratulations again!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
