Embassy Review : |
Hi all,
After 2 years of a pain in the ass process, I finally got to the interview stage.
Today, 4th of May, 1pm, I had the interview.
I got there 15 mins before and they had all the people wait in front in the embassy, across the street. A bit after 1pm, a security guy came out to check the passports and then one by one, we entered the embassy. First through security checking of course: phones off, they scan the bag and jackets.
Then we went to the next building. There we had to wait for our names to be called.
First window, I had to provide the passport and the 2 pictures. After this I had to wait on the chair again.
Second window, they took my finger prints. Back to my chair.
Third window, they collected proof of relationship, original documents, TNT confirmation printed page, medical package. Back to my chair.
In 10 mins, they called my name again. This time it was the actual interview:
- how did you meet?
- how many times did he visit you?
- where does he work?
- how much is he making?
- ok, your visa will be ready in 2 days. Congratulations!
That as all! I was out in an hour
Good luck everybody!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
