Consulate Review: Jamaica
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : October 4, 2013
Embassy Review : My husband had a 7am appointment, he arrived a little before 7 and was told to join the 7 o'clock appointment line. He said he went through the nessecary check points and after about an hour of waiting his name was called...
Questions asked:

What type of job do you plan to do when you get to the US?
How did you meet your wife?
What type of job does she do?
How often do you see her?
when did you get engaged, and who proposed?
Does she have a child?
Boy or girl, what is the childs name, how old is the child, and describe the childs personality.
Why did she get a divorce from her childs father?
Who is the joint sponsor?

Over all my husband said everything was good and it was more like a conversation than an interveiw, oh he was only asked to show his pictures of our wedding. The CO said the wedding was very big and it seems we have a very good relationship with each others family....He did try to trick my husband by saying they had recieved a call about the case being a fraud and if either one of us have a jealous ex who wants to break us up? My husband said no such call could have being made since no one knows our business nor do we have any jealous ex...both our ex's are now married.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
