Embassy Review : |
From what my wife told me this was an overall easy experience. She arrived probably a little too early, the appointment was at 8:30 and she was there by 7:30 and was the only one there. I had prepped her with 5lbs of documents of our relationship, copies of all of our submissions, certified copies of our marriage, birth certificates and her police clearence. The procedure was not unlike anything else we have read in this forum. When she was called up for the interview the CO asked when we were married and was also concerned that we met in person only a month before we got married, which my wife explained that we had been video chatting a year prior. We had pictures, skype chat logs, insurance cards, you name it and he didn't ask to see anything. The CO told her to take a seat after the interview and this is were she got nervous, but about 15 minutes later he called her up and said we were approved! |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
