we arrived there around 7.35 for an interview at 8. We were sent to counter 22, to pay and hand in the passport. Few minutes after to the next counter, where they took my fingerprints and provided me with some leaflets.
around 10 past 8 I was called for the interview, took the oath, was asked just a few things.
All together we were in the consulate for 50 minutes, of wich 35 minutes was security check and waiting :-)
Due to technical problems they were not able to say when I will get my passport back. (I've read that they are printing visa's at this time but have a back log). Luckily we won't travel for another 3 months. |

very smooth process, I was in line with my husband and children, as normal. The officer went through the paperwork, stamped the visa and sent me to counter 1 to have my fingerprint taken( in ink) and my signature for the green card.
After that I had to take my luggage and have it screened, customs asked me some questions and that was it, nothing was actually screened.
Good experience :-) |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
