Embassy Review : We just had our Interview this past Thrusday at the Centennial,CO location.
We are so pleased with the experience. Our IO was a wonderful lady that made us feel very confortable from the beginning, very laid back and welcoming.
- we did our oath
- then she mentions that I would receive the 10 yr residency since we have been married for over 2 years.
- she said she likes to follow her instincts about the couples and she is usually always right. But, she said "they" don't like that too much here so she will have to ask for some bonafide documents.
- She said since I would get the 10 year residency we would be more scrutinized so she will ask more questions.
- She goes over the I-485 basic info, name, birthdays, parents first names, have I left the country since my entry, and all the NO questions that we are all familiar with.
- after that she asked for the bonafide documents we had. Car loan, lease, 2012 tax returns, pictures ( she took a bunch of those), we had cellphone bills and wedding/christmas cards but she said those are not very strong b/c anyone can have a joint cellphone account these days and there's no way of her really knowing when those cards were sent to us.
That was it!!! then she said we were approved!! and we should get the card in 2-4 weeks!!!!
I'm still extremely surprised how easy the interview was, it wasn't more than 20 minutes
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
