Embassy Review : Appt was for 730am, got there about 630....looong line. Was was by the pedestrian bridge. Surpisingly it went pretty quick and was inside before 730. Interview was easy...seems like they go easier on those that have their fiance with them. They asked a couple ordinary questions (where/when/how you met, what my job was). Took a little while waiting for the interviews...was approved before lunch but had to wait around till after lunch for her final instructions and for them to double-check the spelling of her name. However, they didn't double-check my name and misspelled it on the visa!
Rating : Good

Embassy Review : Interview was at the Chatsworth, CA office in LA. Got there about 6:45 am and we were the first ones there. Doors opened at 7:00. Was there about 2 hrs before the appt and figured we'd have a long wait, but got seen about an hour before the appt. Interview was easy and only about 15 mins. Just asked to see IDs and original documents of marriage cert, and birth certs. He also asked to see some photos. He made copoes of everything and then he said we're good to go and should receive the GC in the mail within 30 days. Everyone was polite and professional. Only rude person was some eastern european lady pushing her way to the front when the doors opened at 7:00.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
