Port of Entry : Boston
POE Date : 2013-06-23
Got EAD Stamp : No
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : Between landing and holding my fiancee was like 25 minutes. It was very pleasant coming trough migration and customs.

It just was like a normal flight wait in line get your passport stamped en get trough. The difference was that this time i had my visa and envelope with me.

When it was my turn i gave the officer my passport and envelope. He took my fingerprints and opened the envelope. He used the computer and told me if i knew what to do after. When he was done he stamped my passport and welcomed me to the United States

Consulate Review: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description

Embassy Review : Had my interview today and i have to say it was a very pleasant experience.

A lot is already said so i only tell a few things i've noticed.

Medical.

bring cash and i mean euro's no plastic. There are a few banks nearby so you can get money from there. i got 300 just to be on the safe site.

Interview

Don't bring electronics. It's in the letter etc. but there where people today that had phone's with them. The guard let them stay outside. If you bring your phone expect to be outside for a while. You can leave your phone at central station. There lockers on the far right side of the building. (if you stand in front of the building and walk in)

I bought a registered mail stamp (7.70 euro) in dutch (aangetekende brief 0-2 kilo)You only can get the barcode one.

All in all in was a pleasant experience. I was in and out in less then 15 minutes.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
