Event Description

Embassy Review : We had AOS interview at the morning, we came there about 10 minutes earlier, and there were already several couples waiting, some of them were even with a lawyer. So we waited about 20 minutes until the officer invite us. He was super nice and positive person! All interview took about maybe 20 minutes and was more like a friend's conversation then some sort of interrogation. He asked how we met (we met online and told him the whole story Then he asked my husband about his work, actually where it is located, and then they talk about work opportunities, cause we are both bi-lingual. And then the officer started asking me if I like USA and how it is different from my country, he seemed to be really interested in it. Anyway then was a brief talk about forms - he checked if everything is correct, after that he said he approved I-130. Then he asked about documentation proofs of our bona-fide marriage (we have only bank statements from joint bank account), he took copies of it. It was enough, he said we married not so long, so its obvious we did not have much common documents yet. After that he told us about different fraud cases, which was sort of interesting and that this morning he already had one such case! Also he was really interested in photos that we brought! He looked all the photo albums after he approved I-485 form. All in all I was really pleased and happy with this interview.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
