Need joint sponsor, my father was the joint sponsor and income met guidelines. I dont know why they need another joint sponsor. Interview was quick, few questions, looked at wedding pics. They said mail the documents via courier and they will call soon after they receieve and accept the new i864. I guess a little more wait. |

Interview was on May 21, 2013. My wife was asked basic questions and a chinese officer looked at all the pics in the album. After the interview she was given a green paper asking for new joint sponsor and new passport pics that show hair and ears. I sent new joint sponsor papers on june 10 via islamabad courier service and after 3 emails within the past month, they issued the visa today july 1st. I checked my status online and it shows issued. During this whole process at embassy, my wife's status showed in administrative processing since the interview until today. |
