Comments : Nice and easy test. interview time was at 8:00am,,i got there at 7:40. usics building had a security checkpoint at the entrance,,had to go all the way up to the 15th floor. had to show the interview letter to the security officer at the entrance of the room and then gave the interview letter to the lady at window #1 and she told me they were going to call me by my name. there were already like 100 people already sit on the chairs. had to wait like 2 hours sitting so i decided to review and practice the test questions until they finally called me for the interview..immigration officer was not nice at all: he was asking the questions very fast but I made my way out by answering all the questions with short answers. he focused more on asking personal questions rather than history and civics questions. USCIS was giving the naturalization certificates the same day just waited like 1 1/2 hours for the oath ceremony... Really fast!!!

Embassy Review : Our interview time was scheduled to be at 6:45am..we got there at 6:00am and there were like 100 buscones everywhere around the north corner calling you for parking . there were like 200 people outside of the embassy making the line waiting for the embassy to open..around 6:45 us embassy employees began to give everyone outside a ticket number. they give the number depending on if you have children or not. they call you by your number when you're inside, but they call number ramdomly most of the time. first i got called from window 27 by my name where they asked me for my passport, banco popular fee receipt
(RD$600.00) and the police certificate..then i waited like 1 hour to be called again for my fingerprints to be taken at window 17..then after 40 minutes aprx. i finally got called for my interview at window 20..us embassy consul was very nice and polite. didnt asked me many questions..finally she tells me congratulations you've been aproved!! go and pay the courier service (DOMEX)for your passport to be delivered to your address..paid RD$475.00 PESOS cause i live out of santo domingo city...only 3 hours spent inside the embassy. Very happy!!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
