Comments : Here's the deal. If you are waiting for administrative processing for a loved one abroad after all the other waiting you've done, take your case to your local state congress! I got in contact with congress and they put a stamp of "congressional interest" on my husband's case. Next thing I know, I got an e-mail form the congress associate who I contacted, telling me that she had received an e-mail from the consulate that our case was approved and his visa would be arriving shortly. As of yet (3/1/2013 the case status hasn't changed on the website but it might take a few days after the case is complete to update it. Get your local congress, senate or any other high official state reps to get involved. Plead your case honestly and they will take interest. With the current look into immigration reform, they are starting to take these things more seriously now considering all the illegal immigrants they allow to stay here under protection. We waited, did everything legal and right, we paid the fees. We should get first priority. But you have to take initiative. Don't just sit back and wait! Get proactive and push for a result! Best of luck to everyone else going through this craziness.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
