Event Description

Embassy Review : Very good experience, walked in the lobby about 30 minutes before our appointment. My husband and I were nervous and anxious. So finally, they call us and our officer escorts us to his office. The officer wasn't particularly friendly but he wasn't rude either. It seemed that he was just looking straight forward to do his job, and make sure our relationship was legit. Asked us a few questions about us, like how long we've been married, and where were we born. Then he took time reviewing our application which he already had in his office. Made us other few questions like, about hour wedding and stuff. Then he asked to see more evidence like pictures, paperwork we had together... And we showed him pictures of us, and stuff we had under our name together. Finally, he said that I was approved and that I should be getting something in the mail pretty soon. It all lasted about 30-40 minutes. Over all my experience was good I'd say. The officer made us feel comfortable even though he did look a little intimidating. Pretty much he was just making sure that our relationship is legit.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
