I was with my babe and we both went through the citizen line. The officers name was Jones. He said they werent accepting k1s that day and I felt my world crush then he said " You know Im just kidding with yall" I just started laughing so did my babe and the officer too he said " I wish I could send this to pranked because your face was priceless" he even took his glasses off and was crying of laughter. The whole process took about an 1hr 15 mins (since we got off the airplane til we were inside the terminals.

Event Description
Review Date : February 25, 2013
Embassy Review : Well my baby has his interview on the 23rd of January and he received a blue slip 221 g for more pictures and affidavit of support even though he had it with him on the day of the interview.

We did the medical on Monday 21st and it took forever only because he couldn't urinate hehe. He said he felt awkward because there was this guy looking at him. He went at 5 a.m and there was about 25 people in line already! He got out at 11 a.m

The Asc was on Tuesday 22nd at 1:30 but there was barely any people so they let him in at 12:40. Easy process took less then 10 mintues. Only he went in though me and my dad waited outside for him

The interview was at 7:15 on Wednesday we went to waiting area at 6 and he was in by 6:30. When he was there he said that there was so many interview windows and he got more nervous. They just asked him how we met? How many times weve seen each other? What I do in the usa? If he we had a religious ceremony? Which we did BUT a religious ceremony was not valid in Mexico. Later he gave him a blue slip and said more pics of the religious ceremony and affidavit of support . We sent the papers via DHL on the 6th February and got the visa in hand and approved on the 20th of February ..

All I have to say is its a long process and if even if you get a blue slip never lose faith !!
Rating : Moderate

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
