Immigration \"forgot\" to send me for my FBI fingerprints so this delayed to receive my greencard. Also AOS interviewer forgot to take my kids right index print so they were called back ONE year later. All together, it took almost two years for my daughter to receive her greencard. I received my greencard shortly after approval in February. My son received his in June. My daughter, well in October of 2004, had to go BACK to USCIS as never received. Turns out Texas had sent her file to the filing location without processing her greencard. |

K1 and K2. Basically interview consisted of 3 simple questions. When was wedding date, when I was moving, and my kids (they were present) if they were looking forward to the move.
In all it went well and fast. |

What a nightmare. Interviewer's name was Mr. Pate. Our interview was Feb of 2003 and he said I would receive our greencards (K1 and K2) in about one month. Winter passed, so did spring, and so did the summer. October 2003, head back to Atlanta office only to find out interviewer FORGOT all about my FBI prints. So went to get the prints and because of this, had to renew AP documents to be able to travel. In Jan 2004, my kids get a phone call from Atlanta office because the interviewer had FORGOT to take their right index fingerprints at the AOS interview. Anyways, we did get our cards about one year late, which delayed my AOS approval date for about one year. Interview sucked!!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
