Had an issue - was not receiving mail in mailbox at apartment. Called USCIS on 10/18 and after getting a call back after an hour found out that my biometrics appointment is scheduled for 10/24 - can't get details until 5 days before since never actually received anything in the mail though. Should get fax with biometrics appointment details on Monday 10/21.
On 2/14 - got a call from USCIS saying they needed to verify my address. verified it and officer said she will approve my case and I should receive my card shortly!!! Maybe 30 minutes after the call, status changed to card in production! |

Received Biometrics appointment letter on 1/10/2015
I-551 Stamp on 1/4/17 - weird incident, went to USCIS office on Koppers St. in Baltimore yesterday and after they took my passport to process I-551 they evacuated the building so I had to go back today to get my passport back. |

Had interview this morning. Pretty standard, walked me through my application asked some questions, clarified some of my answers. Was told, no decision could be made and told that they will update me within 120 days. The waiting continues...
On 2018-02-08 I received a notice for my oath ceremony on 2018-01-18 in Baltimore.
10 days to go!! |

Got there at 7:30/7:45am for 8am appointment.
Maybe 5 people in line in front of us. Went with my petitioner.
Waited till about 10 got called to 1st window. Gave the letter of intent, photographs, i-134, police and birth certificates. Took about 15 minutes. Waited about another 5 minutes or so then got 2nd interview.
I was asked a few basic questions, then told I was approved.
Out by 10:30.
No idea about the order, we were C16 and they called people who came after us before we got there.
Overall was expecting it to be much worse. Approved!!! |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
