Comments : We followed directions very closely. All in all, it took about 10 months from the date of sending the petition for the visa and to the date of Garry's arrival. This was in 2012. We got married 3 weeks later in Dec 2012 and applied for residency right away along with the application for work permit. Garry got his work permit in March of 2013, and his green card in Nov. 2013.
