No harrasment, just a very busy airport, took a LONG time to get through the line. If you are planning on JFK being your point of entry, make sure you get at least a 4 hour layover. |

Embassy Review : |
My fiance was right on time and let into the building. He said they were nice, he waited about 5 minutes and then went from window to window quickly. The consul asked only a few questions: How did you meet, when was the last time your fiance visited Romania and how many times, Have you ever talked to her family, does she know any Romanian (language). My fiance had brought a photo album he has made with outr pictures over time, he handed the consul a few of the pictures from the album...and that's it. My fiance said the consul started the interview talking and asking him questions in Romanian, but my fiance answered him in english. Before the interview date, the embassy requested a certified copy of my previous divorce judgement, and I had sent it, but it didnt get there in time for the interview. They still let him interview and approved him but are withholding the actual visa until they get the copy of the divorce judgement. All in all, my fiance said it took about 45 min to an hour total, and he was done...and everyone there was nice and polite. Nice job Bucharest |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
