Consulate Review: Guangzhou, China
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : December 9, 2012
Embassy Review : My fiancee interview at the consulate in Guangzhou lasted about ten minutes in all. From what she shared with me, she was greeted in Chinese by the officer who administered the interview who started by commented about the nice weather in Guangzhou.

She was asked only a few questions.....
Who petitioned for your K1 visa?
How did you met your fiancee?
Have you every met your fiancee in person?
Why do you want to marry him?

That is all that I can remember her sharing with me. The questioning was very simple and direct. He made her feel very comfortable during the interview. She understandably was a little nervous at the beginning of the interview however his taking time to creat small talk helped her feel very comfortable.

As anyone can expect both my fiancee and I are very excited that everything went so well. We had both been praying a lot about her interview as well as both of the churches we belong to. We are so thankful that God answered our prayers. He has filled our hearts with much joy. Now we look forward to her traveling to the states at the end of January and getting married shortly after.
Rating : Very Good
