I had scheduled an appointment on July 25, 2012 at 7:00 AM
I went to bed early and prepared my relationship proof in the folders. Before the sleep time, me and my fiance, we had a final practice about visa questions for reminding and got prepared.
I arrived to the US consulate around 6:30 AM and then the lady staff in pink shirt told me to came inside, I went through the security check and walked inside. I sent all my original documents and my relationship proofs to them at window 6 and had to paid for the EMS fee because now they've changed the rule, they will send our visa by post mail instead of picking up at the consulate. The EMS fee is 350 Baht.
I felt very nervous and uncomfortable during waiting. The consular officer only approved one petition from three petitions. That made me frustrated!!! Felt like butterflies in my stomach!!!! After that I had to sit and wait until 10:30 AM. The male consular officer at window 5 called my name and started questions at me. Luckily I had the simple questions that I practiced with my fiance before.
Those questions are following;
1) How did you meet your fiance?
2) Where? What website?
3) When did you meet him first time?
4) When did you meet him after that?
5) How many time he came here in total?
6) He met him from..... to......., right?
But the consular officer, he tried to find the proof of my fiance second trip, but he didn't see it.
He asked me that I had a copy of his passport that had a stamp to Thailand or not. Fortunately, I made a copy of all documents before I return the package 3 to consulate, so I could show him my fiance's passport stamp.
After he saw that, he told me that the consulate will send the visa via post mail, I will receive it around Saturday.
He kept my passport and gave my relationship proofs back.
I've got my visa and brown envelope by mail on Friday, July 27, 2012... Only 1 days!!!
I hope all you guys will have good news soon...
Good Luck!!!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
