Consulate Review: Bulgaria
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : October 22, 2012
Embassy Review : My interview was at 2 pm. I went at the embassy around 1:30 pm and the guards told me I can go inside. At 2 pm I paid fee for interview - $240. At 2:20 pm a quite serious man (40-45 years) started to collect my documents. I saw that he have all documents which Mladen sent with I-129. So he had some evidence (photos, passports phone bills and etc.) and he didn't want any more evidence. He asked me several questions. After that he said that everything is OK. He gave me DHL form and said that he will come back after 10 minutes. After that he took it (14:40 pm) and told me to sit and wait the Consul to take my fingerprints and for interview. At 14:45 pm american woman took my fingerprints and told me to sit and wait the Consul. At 14:50 pm young and very friendly woman called me and started asking me questions on Bulgarian. By the consul was another man - just seating and watching. Council asked me similar questions. Then she said that everything looks fine and they would send my visa in one week. At 3:10 pm I was outside at the embassy and called my fiance ))))))))
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
