"A decision could not be made" after interview.
N-400 was denied 10 days after my interview due to a USCIS error. They stated that I had applied one day before I had, and so denied my application on that basis.
I contacted my congressman's office and the DHS Ombudsman who managed to get the denial overturned on 2/7/18, and I was then scheduled for an oath ceremony on 2/14/19. |

Embassy Review : |
No issues at my naturalisation interview, but 10 days later the Dallas field office incorrectly denied my application, claiming that I filed one day before I actually did. It took the intervention of my congressman's office and the CIS Ombudsman to explain to Dallas how dates and times work, and they finally overturned their denial as a result of this.
I would not piss on them were my magical urine the only way to stop the building burning down.
0 stars. My recommendation is that if you live within the jurisdiction of the Dallas field office, move. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
