Hubby\'s interview was in Yerevan Consulate. Interview was conducted in Russian.
His interview was for 9:30, he arrived around 9 am, all prepared with tons of documents we had.
He was first called to submit the documents, and waited to be called by the CO.
He had to wait for about 1,5 hour in the Embassy to be called. CO also came prepared with tons of documents
Hubby took skype logs with him, maybe like 1-2 from every 2 months starting in 2011 (that\'s when i filled), all my tickets from back and forth and passport stamps (almost twice a year I went to see him for like a month or so), ATT call logs which just showed his calls and my texts , nice photo album. Anyway he was ready with updated co sponsor financial info (which they never ended up looking at), police certificate(which they took, even though the one they had did not yet expire) and copies of everything.
Our main concern was that he had TWO denied B2 visas from 6 months before our marriage. CO did address that as we predicted. CO asked whether he was planning to visit me at that time, to which hubby honestly replied, that no he was invited to participate in a work -related activity.
Than they asked who I live with, if I have brothers sisters, if he remembers our wedding date, where I work or study , what my parents do, and whether we live together when I visit. That was it!!!!
They told him everything was OK and that they will call him in about 14 days to pick his passport up!
We actually had bought a ticket for about 2.5 weeks after the interview, so about week and a half after the interview I emailed Embassy to notify them of the ticket. They responded the same day that they cannot promise to have everything ready but will try. Go and behold, hubby received his packet and visa exactly 2 days after I emailed the Embassy and 10 business days after the interview, and a week before his departure.
Embassy stuff was polite and responsive to all our concerns!!! Just make sure you are prepared with updated documents.

It was easier than I could have imagined. I eхpected my husband to take at least an hour to clear customs, but he was one of the first people to appear. The flight arrived at 12:30pm, and we were on our way home around 1:15pm. He asked the person coordinating the traffic where should he go with a packet and was directed to Lpr/ citizen lane. However, when he showed the customs agent his IR1 visa and packet he was directed to secondary inspection right away. There he spent about 5-10 minutes while they opened the package and took his fingureprints. They said congradulations and he was on his way to pick up the baggage. Was easier than I could imagine |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
