Consulate Review: Naples, Italy
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description

Embassy Review : The Consulate in Naples, Italy is a story of its own. I should mention first that they are super nice and thoughtful when you go to the interview. However, they are Italian, and therefore really good at being slow. It is harder than hell getting ahold of someone at the embassy by phone; there are certain hours that you must call. I emailed them maybe 4 times and recieved one response. If you fax them like they request, you might get an answer. For the imterview they gave us two dates. The first day to be a medical interview and the second day to be the actual visa interview. As it turns out they did both interviews in the same day. They told him that he was approved but that he would have to come back to the embassy the next day to pick up his passport, visa included. Overall it was a good experience. My fiance's biggest complaint was that he had to get two shots. Poor him! IN BOCCA DEL LUPO!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
