Event Description

Embassy Review : I got to US EMBASSY at 4:45 am and fall in line to 6:30 appointment. There's already a lot of people outside the US embassy and has a different lines for every appointment.Around 6 o'clock in the morning the guard on duty and a lady wearing ID ( i think she is probably a us embassy employee) came and asked which line is 6:15 appointment. And they assist first the 6:15 appointment to go inside the tent which has a number from 1 - 5, to fall in line again followed by 6:30 and so on.

At the tent, it has another lady assisting applicants in lines and said to prepare passport and the appointment letter to present to the personnel in front of the desk who put/stick barcoded name at the back of the passport.(then returned to the applicant)

After this, i went inside the us embassy compound and fall in line again to checked bags and for scan.I am a IR-1 applicant and i brought original proof of our relationship like cards. And i am not aware of that musical card is not allowed inside the us embassy, so i went out again and leaved the musical card to someone outside and payed her to keep my musical card. Then i go back inside, fall in line again to get my number and instructed to drop my appointment letter to window 39.
After i got my number,go straight inside the building, fall in line again for body checked, bags and a lady collect my appointment letter (actually she collected all the appointment letter because she is the one who will gonna drop it at window 39 instead of us).

I sat down to waiting area and wait for my number to be showed on screen. The number is showed by random.

First Steps: BIOMETRICS

After biometrics, go back and si tdown in waiting area and wait for my number to be showed on screen. I waited about an hour for my second steps.

Second Steps: FILIPINO INTERVIEWER

He asked me some questions and (collect) got my original NBI clearance and passport. Then instructed to go back and sit down and wait for my next step. The same thing, i waited more than an hour before my number showed for CO interview.

Third Step: CO INTERVIEW (WINDOW 62)
( NEED TO OATH before proceed the interview)

He just keep looking for our papers and asking questions like:

QUESTIONS ASKED:

1. HOW AND WHEN WE MET AND PLACE
2 What he's doing here in Philippines when we met
3. WHO IS MY PETITIONER
4. HOW OLD IS MY PETITIONER
5. WHY IT TAKES SO LONG FOR ME TO BE PETITIONED
6. when we got married
7. is it a big or small wedding and how many people are invited while he is looking on our pictures
8. do we have a son or a daugther
9. how old is our daugther
10. does our daugther has a US passport and she is already a us citizen
I asked also about my husband ex-wife. LIKED:

11. how long does my petitioner divorced before we met
12. how long they be together

And he also asked me:

13. is my petitioner used to be in military what does it is, ( airforce, army, navy, or marine)

And after asking a lot of questions, i still stood up in front of him (window) while he is reading some part of our papers and checking something on his computer. And later on he told me " okay maám your papers are complete you may sit back and wait for you next instruction.

I go back and sit down to waiting area and wait for my number showed again on screen about 3 minutes and i went to FINAL AND LAST STEP WINDOW 71. A Filipino asked what is my number and i told him and he said "okay ma'am ýour papers are complete and just wait for your visa to be deliver to you mailing address.

I left at US EMBASSY around 11:15 am.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
