The I-130 took 2 months longer than average at the USCIS. The IV fee was reduced from $404 to $230 as of Apr. 13, 2012!
The NVC sent us one RFE. They said I(sponsor) didn't give proof of domicile. We sent them a letter with our plans for after my wife gets the visa, and a bank statement dated 3 months before then, and then they completed our case.
The interview at the embassy was originally set for Aug. 31st, but we sent the embassy a friendly email asking to make it earlier, then they changed it to Aug. 2nd! Praise God!!! |
