Embassy Review : I am a US citizen and my wife was denied visa based on her I 130 application because we haven't done the walima yet.
My wife told the visa officer during her interview that we will do our walima in US because all of my family is in US but the Visa officer told her that she is not eligible for visa because walima is not done yet.
Is this a requirement for I 130 visa?
We want to do Walima in US so that all of my family members can attend this function but visa officer told her to do the walima and submit the pictures. She kept her passport and gave her a paper saying that she is not eligible for visa

Can someone tell me what to do now? I really want to have my walima in US, thats where my family and friends are. If I do a Walima in Pakistan, then I dont think my family members will be able to attend.......
