Nico also had to go to the doctors before the interview but had very few appts. We were able to bring him earlier than 12/31/12 but had him spend his last Christmas in Peru.
The end part (from NVC to Embassy) went very quickly. I don't recall the exact dates but NVC was finished with his paperwork in October and the beginning of November we received the appt letter for the following month (about 25 days before appt). The WHOLE process to bring him to US took a year and three months. As soon as his father's status changes, he will automatically become a permanent resident/citizen which will be in the next few months. |
