Consulate Review: Argentina
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : September 27, 2012
Embassy Review : My wife's interview was yesterday and it went rather well. The only issue that she had when she arrived was that she had the wrong type of police certificate. They told her she needed one that was with the exception of article 51. But they told her it wouldn't affect the final decision and that they could go ahead with the interview, that she simply needed to bring it back as soon as she could. They didn't look at any pictures or other evidence she had with her. They asked: Where did you meet? What were you doing there? What did you like about your husband when you first met? How many times have you been to the US with your husband? Have you met his family? Where was the wedding? Did your husband's family come to Argentina for the wedding? What do you plan on doing when you get to the US?

It was very brief and the interviewer was very friendly. Overall a good experience.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
